Vendor Acceptable Use & Compliance Policy

1. Licensing & Legal Requirements Vendors must comply with all local, state, and national laws governing food preparation and sales. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Holding valid Cottage Food Permits, Commercial Kitchen Licenses, or Health Department Registrations as required in their operational jurisdiction.

  • Maintaining necessary local business permits and tax compliance records.

2. Prohibited Content & Portfolio Integrity Vendors agree not to upload:

  • Photos of baked goods or cake designs created by other artists without explicit consent or credit.

  • Misleading or stock images that do not accurately represent the baker’s skill level.

  • Content that violates intellectual property laws (e.g., selling trademarked character designs without license authorization).

3. Quality Assurance & Dispute Reviews

  • While the platform does not mediate financial disputes, recurring complaints regarding unfulfilled orders, food safety violations, or misrepresentation will trigger an internal account review.

  • Failure to address verified customer grievances may lead to permanent removal from the directory.
