Frequently Asked Questions
FOR CUSTOMERS
Ordering & Delivery
1. How do I place an order?
Browse bakers in your area by occasion or specialties. Select your made to order treats, add them to your cart, and check out securely through our platform.
2. How far in advance do I need to place an order?
Lead times are set individually by each artisan baker and vary based on the complexity of the item. You will see the required notice period listed on each product page.
3. Can I request a custom design or flavor?
Yes! Many of our bakers specialize in custom orders. You can use the “Request Custom Order” button on the baker’s profile page to message them directly with your ideas, theme, and inspiration pictures.
4. How does delivery or pickup work?
You can choose between local delivery (if offered by the baker) or a designated pickup location. You will select your preferred time slot during checkout.
5. Can I order from multiple bakers at the same time?
Yes. However, because items come from different kitchens, you will need to select separate delivery/pickup options and fees for each baker.
6. What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Because baked goods are made fresh to order, cancellations usually must be made at least 48 to 72 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery time. Please review the specific baker’s storefront policy before purchasing.
Dietary & Ingredients
7. Are these home kitchens regulated?
All bakers on our platform must comply with their state’s cottage food laws or commercial kitchen regulations. We verify that every artisan holds the required local permits and food handler certifications before allowing them to sell.
8. How can I check for allergens?
Every product page includes a complete list of ingredients and highlighted allergens. You can also filter our marketplace by dietary needs, such as gluten-free, vegan, nut-free, or dairy-free. While many follow strict cross-contamination protocols, some operate out of shared spaces. Please check the baker’s profile or message them directly for specific cross-contamination inquiries.

- The seller’s name, business address (or state registration number).
- A complete ingredient list arranged by weight, explicitly highlighting major allergens (wheat, nuts, dairy, eggs, soy).
